Badacsony is a dramatic volcanic hill rising from the northern shore of Lake Balaton, one of Hungary's most iconic wine landscapes. The basalt soils and the moderating influence of the lake create wines of exceptional minerality and freshness. The region is home to rare indigenous varieties including Kéknyelű, alongside Olaszrizling, Szürkebarát, Riesling and Pinot Noir.
