Tasting Notes
Jakab Badacsony Rajnai Rizling 2023 - Dry White Wine is a taut, citrus-driven Riesling that connects Badacsony minerality with lively acidity and a cooler, precise sip. It has a clean pale yellow colour with greenish shades. The moderately intense nose shows unripe citrus, lemon and lime character with melon. Mineral notes dominate the finish. The sip is light, with medium alcohol and integrated acidity. Noticeable residual sugar rounds the wine and gives it body. This Riesling comes from the side of Badacsony Hill, from basalt rock. Balanced mineral notes appear with flint, white pepper and slight lemon blossom.
Food Pairing
It works well with cheeses, vegetable dishes and fish dishes, whether for a weekday dinner or a more considered food pairing.
