It is a blend of two vintages, which is why no vintage is shown on the label. It shows the red-fruit and spicy side of Mátra in a lighter yet exciting red-wine form. It is not a heavy, tannic red, but rather a drinkable, characterful wine for those who enjoy fruit-driven, livelier wines made from Hungarian varieties. Blaufränkisch gives the structure and momentum, while Kadarka brings fine spice, playfulness and a softer texture.
