Itt és Most Pince Édes Kékfrankos 2024 is a rare interpretation of a grape variety most commonly associated with dry red wines. In this vintage, the grapes were left on the vines longer than usual, allowing them to ripen further and naturally concentrate their sugars and aromas.

Rather than fermenting the highly concentrated fruit completely dry and producing an excessively alcoholic wine, fermentation was stopped while natural sweetness remained. The result is a distinctive sweet red Kékfrankos with concentrated ripe fruit, dark berry character and the variety’s characteristic freshness providing balance. An unconventional expression that shows a completely different side of Kékfrankos.

Food Pairing

Its ripe fruit and natural sweetness make it an interesting partner for chocolate-based desserts, berry desserts and mature cheeses. It can also be enjoyed on its own, slightly chilled, as an unusual after-dinner wine.
