Tasting Notes
Hoffmann's Syrah 2024 - Dry Red Wine is a fresh-fruited Syrah that presents spicy aromas in a lighter, more direct structure with a nice red-wine mood. The result is a full-bodied, spicy yet elegant red wine with weight, character and something that cannot really be described. This was the last harvest of the year, in mid-September. At the same time, a smaller lot was already fermenting and maturing in barrel — new 500-litre French oak — where it rested until the next harvest; it was then blended and bottled. It fermented spontaneously for two weeks on skins in an open vat, then finished fermentation in tank after pressing. Not loud, but not shy either. Simply Syrah, as we like it.
