Tasting Notes
Hoffmann's Fieldblend 2022 - Dry White Wine is a layered white blend that builds its character from several grape varieties, riper fruitiness and a more substantial sip. Here, the Chardonnay backbone is coloured by Grüner Veltliner and Olaszrizling. Compared with the first vintage, the harvest was earlier, the alcohol more moderate and the acidity good. After harvest, the grapes were processed quickly and fermented in tank at low temperature. This year we got ahead of the starlings and picked in early September. These three grapes are where the estate began. The wine did not see barrel. Fresh, cold, as a spritz or on its own.

Best served with fish starters and vegetable dishes, keeping the overall effect balanced.
